Hypnotherapy Sessions

Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state that we all move in and out of each day. It's normal. Most of us have experienced it while driving on a long road trip - even just travelling to and from work. We sort of ' trance out' - we are there, but not there; knowing what is going on around us but not fully engaged in it.

In a hypnotherapy session we use this natural 'state of trance', as a way to access the part of the mind that processes ideas and information so that we can re-focus the thinking into more useful patterns - patterns that will enhance life, and empower you to move towards your dreams and live the life you want to live.

In a first session - whether we are going to use hypnosis or some other tool for change, we will chat about how you see yourself now and where you want to be; we will get clarity about what you want to achieve out of your sessions, identify your longer term goals and make a plan as to how to get you there. 

What Is Hypnosis Like

Most people are surprised by what a pleasant experience it is to be hypnotised. Some people feel physical sensations of heaviness or lightness, many are a little surprised by the sense of relaxation they get, while being aware of the sounds of the traffic outside of the room; noticing the busyness out there and yet being deep inside themselves at the same time. Interestingly, everyone seems to agree that hypnosis feels easy and natural.
